(A really boring post.)

After the last post I was quite productive, until my laptop crashed, hard drive failed and I lost everything. So this month I've been a few bad things away from a break down, so I haven't got a lot to show ya!

It was one of my faves (and fellow Back to the Future fan) birthday this month, so I made him a little felted hoverboard. ^_^ Third one I've made, and probably the neatest one! yay for improvement?

Update on the Carrie drawing. Still not finished.
I've put so many hours into this and it doesn't even feel close to finished!
Hopefully next post it'll be done. ^_^

Life update: Went to Bristol Aquarium. Saw Turtles. Check it outttt.

(3 months til New Zealand. ^_^ )

"Do the stars gaze back?" Now that's a question.

SO it's the 13th so here's another post! The only thing I've done that's blog worthy is go to Scotland, where the plan was to do spend the majority of my time drawing. But ya know what, it's really hard to draw outside when its crazy windy or raining.

I'll try to make next months post a bit more exciting, promise.

(Below: Loch Lomond)

(Below: Eilean Donan Castle. Man I love castles.)

(I think these were quick sketches from outside my window in Skye?)

("Anything off the trolley dear?" Took a train that went over the Glenfinnan Viaduct ^_^)

(Below- Found the Loch Blez Monster.)

So this day we unknowingly went to two locations that were used in Stardust. The Quiraing and the Fairy Glen.

see?!

again! ^_^

Literally the prettiest place I've ever been to.

Coral beaches are the best kind of beaches.

Alnwick Castle/Actual Hogwarts. ^_^

I think I fell in love with Edinburgh and their Museum.

Geology rocks.

(I think I was trying to copy the dinosaur?)

I'll try to do some decent drawings from the thousands of photos we took at some point.
I miss Scotland.
(Four months til New Zealand.)

'I'm known for being quite vexing. I'm just forewarning you...'

After seeing the Suicide Squad trailer, and seeing how cool they've made Harley Quinn (Any character who shares my love for short shorts is going to be an instant fave) I felt like doing a quick doodle. Which really wasn't quick, like at all. Also regret doing this in such a teeny sketchbook!

Progress! ^_^
I think I redrew her mouth about four times?

'Don't ya wanna rev up your Harley?!'

(I'll next post on July 13th! Before that I'll be going to Scotland, so expect lots of sketches of mountains.)

The most relatable Pixar Character?

Even before I watched Inside Out, I knew Disgust was going to be one of my favourites. Purely because I love anything involving Mindy Kaling.
I started this last year during the hype of the film, and then completely forgot about it, but now it's finished! Here are the progress photos. ^_^

Tada! ^_^
(I must start taking better photos.)

13

On Friday 13th (May) I booked a flight to New Zealand for the 13th November, so as a kinda countdown I'm going to attempt to post on the 13th of every month. ^_^ (Giving myself a monthly deadline will probably be useful too...) So here's another catch up!

Earlier this year I had two birds constantly flying back and forth from the tree to my window. Always the same two! (I'm practically a Disney Princess?)  Here's some sketches of some birds. ^_^

Sketch from watching T-Swift's 'Out of the Woods' video too many times.

I've been teaching myself some embroidery basics, by the time I'm 60 I'm going to be a pro at this. It's so relaxing!

After my last post in January, sadly the talented Alan Rickman passed away. Being a massive Harry Potter/Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy fan it felt only right to illustrate one of his quotes.
(I'll definitely come back and rework this!)
